Welcome to Port Huron High School, home of the Big Reds!  Port Huron High School has a long history of educational excellence.  We have offered graduates to our community for over 147 years.  As the principal and educational leader of your student, I am eager to help your student attain the ultimate goal of graduation and movement into college and careers.

As a graduate of Port Huron High School, I am aware of the tradition of pride that our school community has.  One of the ways to instill this PRIDE in our students has been to develop a system that aligns to the Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS).  PBIS helps create a positive learning environment for our students and teachers.  We will encourage learning with the following:

P - Personal Responsibility

R - Respect

I - Integrity

D - Determination

E - Engagement

Along with offering a positive learning environment, it is also a priority to offer an impressive 12 Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment at St. Clair County Community College (where students are able to obtain college credits), Blue Water Middle College (a college program at PHHS where students can obtain college credits and a college degree), and a partnership with St. Clair TEC (where students are able to obtain training for careers in the service industry).  With these programs, we are focused on having successful students in their area of interest.

We look forward to celebrating your student through their High School Career and at Graduation!

Mike Palmer, Principal
